I think this would be a great book for young adults and those experiencing first love, like the main character of the story Jenna.I was hoping for more of the supernatural as Jenna has the gift of touching people and knowing a bit about them or the future. Maybe book two will have more of this. I didn't realize this was a series when I first got the book. Despite the cover, I didn't think this book would be more of a romance story than anything else, so for me it wasn't the type of book I usually read but for fans of romance, I think this book would be great, that's why it is getting four stars. If you like young love with a slight twist, this is definitely a book for you.

From the minute I began this book I fell in love with it. Even when I wasn't reading it I found myself thinking about it. I quickly fell in love with Reece and I fell in love with Jenna with Reece together. There relationship reminded me of the first time I fell in love. Now I didn't predict he would break my heart but being afraid of falling love I was always scared of what it was going to feel like when he did break my heart. Luckily I never found out since I married him. Anyway I think that's why my stomach was in knots every time I picked up this book I was afraid of the pain I was going to feel as a reader when Jenna's prediction came true. A week later i still can't stop thinking about this amazing book. This is one of those books you are going to want to read again and again. I can't wait for the sequel!!!!
This book caught my attention from the first page and I couldn't put it down. My was with me the whole day and I stole a few minutes here and there to continue until I finished around 1 AM. I loved the main characters in this book. What I really enjoyed is that the author has found a way to keep your interest without the predictable "I wanted to say A, but to protect myself I did B." The author also wrote a romance where both main characters really are equals vs. the "I'm awkward and I'm in love with the perfect jock" scenario. I cannot wait until the next book in this series is released!
As a fan of Sibarium's other romance books, I was very excited to learn she had written something with a paranormal twist! The story immediately starts off with Jenna's vision of Reece breaking her heart. Despite the warning, she finds herself falling for him over the summer with his golden-brown eyes and undeniable charm. I found myself drifting effortlessly into their love story, anxious to see if they would work things out, or if Jenna's vision would come true. The book ends on an uneasy note, so you'll want to buy the sequel post haste!!
Heart Waves was absolutely amazing. Danielle Sibarium is truly a gifted author with her eloquent words. You will experience young love, hope, sadness and self worth. The author's words is like a sweet caress that will enthrall you effortlessly. You will fall in love with character's that will leave imprints on your heart and soul forever. Danielle Sibarium you never cease to amaze me. Simply Amazing
Ok so here's the thing, I love romance, I mean who doesn't right? Well how bout romance with a paranormal twist? Not paranormal in the sense that there's a vampire, but in the sense that Jenna can have premonitions by touching an object...well that's what she thought, but somehow it progressed to not having to touch anything, not to mention picking up feelings for the boy she fell in love with, Reece. Ok that's enough spoilers.

This book was captivating! I seriously read it from cover to cover with minor breaks. It was hard not to develop a connection with Jenna. Danielle Sibarium writes with a finesse that has you consumed and waiting to see what happens next. You have to read this book, Jenna and Reece have a complicated relationship and it only seems to get more complicated, but you can't help but hope everything is going to work out, and hopefully her premonition from the first time they met will be wrong.
I read a lot of YA books and this is one is a standout! I thought I would enjoy it, but it was so much better than I expected. Danielle has a very beautiful and polished writing style and her characters are very well developed and easy to relate to. I got pulled into the story right away and didn't want to stop reading until it was done! I was on an emotional roller coaster while reading this (but in a good way.;) While some YA novels end up being trite or cliche, or make you feel like you're reading a script of an "after School Special," "Heart Waves" doesn't fall into this category. This book is very emotional without being sappy or over the top. Everyone has different tastes, but for me, this book struck the perfect balance of everything I look for in YA romance. I loved it so much that I immediately bought and read her other book, "For Always" and I loved that just as much! I am looking forward to reading more from her in the future.)
Heart Waves is the first book in the Heart Waves series by Danielle Sibarium. To see premonitions like Jenna does would be a pretty awesome gift, but like her, it would scare me too. Especially when it comes to my heart and those I love. Even though she knows her heart will be broken, she can't help but fall for Reece. Let me tell you, he's pretty darn easy to fall for. He's charming. He's protective. He's funny. Yeah, he's pretty much got it all. Jenna and Reece act simply adorable together. The paranormal aspect is on the lighter to medium side, but it's there. So, whether you like paranormal romance or prefer a more contemporary romance, I think you'll really enjoy this one. I know I did. There's something more going on too, and I want to know what it is. I want to know who to trust. I wasn't ready for it to end just yet. I NEED more!
